JAKARTA - The United States (US) Embassy issued a warning or warning to its citizens in Australia to remain vigilant after a mass stabbing at a busy shopping center Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney.

The warning was issued by the US Embassy in Canbera, Australia which states the potential danger could occur in unexpected areas.

Despite the new warning, the US State Department, through the US Department of State and Commerce, continues to classify Australia as a priority tourist destination or "level one".

The mass stabbing was carried out by Joel Cauchi (40) at the Westfield Bondi Junction, Australia on Sunday, April 14. The stabbing left 6 victims dead and 12 others injured.
