JAKARTA - A number of Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting a mosque in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip, according to a report by the official Palestinian news agency, WAFA.
As reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 16, medical sources said a number of martyrs and nine injured people were transported to Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip due to Israeli airstrikes targeting the Al-Fakhoura Martyr Mosque west of the Greater Java refugee camp.
WAFA reported Israeli army vehicles were also infiltrating the city of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, surrounding a school hosting refugees and shooting at them.
Local sources reported blackouts of communications and internet services in Beit Hanoun coinciding with Israeli troop attacks.
The news agency added that Israeli soldiers continued to fire heavy machine guns in the west of the city of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, as well as artillery fire in the eastern and northern regions of the Gaza Strip.
