Coordinating Minister For Political, Legal And Security Affairs Intervened In The Action Of Naughty Mining Trucks In Parungpanjang

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto intervened to help the Bogor Regency Government, West Java, take action against rogue mining truck drivers operating in the Parungpanjang area.

"We will call related parties so that the implementation of law enforcement can be optimal and does not harm each other," said Hadi when receiving a visit from the Acting Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 16.

Hadi said his staff were ready to collaborate with the Bogor Regency Government in an effort to enforce the law against mining transport truck drivers who violated the rules.

Acting Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu said his party together with the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs immediately formed an integrated law enforcement task force for the operation of mining trucks in Parungpanjang.

The task force also involved officials from the central government, the provincial governments of West Java, Banten, and DKI Jakarta.

"Because the handling of mining routes is also a mining transport truck involving several areas, not only Bogor Regency," said Asmawa.

The law enforcement task force will help the Bogor Regency Government enforce Regent Regulation Number 56 of 2023 concerning Amendments to Bogor Regent Regulation Number 120 of 2021 concerning Restrictions on Operational Time for Mining Special Vehicles on Bogor Regency Roads from 22.00 to 05.00 WIB.

"Law enforcement must be synergized by involving many parties, including the TNI, Polri, Satpol PP, Dishub, and others, by forming an integrated law enforcement task force against mining truck operations that violate the rules," said Asmawa.
