Gibran Wants To Gather, Ganjar: My Door Is Never Closed

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he had never closed the door to stay in touch with other presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by Ganjar in response to the wishes of the vice presidential candidate with the most votes, Gibran Rakabuming Raka to meet his rivals in the 2024 presidential election. The former Governor of Central Java invited President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son who is also the mayor of Solo to communicate with anyone.

"My door was never closed because yesterday without this political story I opened an open house, open," said Ganjar to reporters at the residence of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri on Jalan Teuku Umar, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, April 16.

Ganjar said this kind of meeting was good to do. However, the conversation must prioritize the interests of the nation and state.

"Good, I think it's good with anyone we can communicate with. Good and important for this nation," said the PDIP cadre.

Gibran previously said that he wanted to meet his political rivals in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD. He hopes that the gathering can be held quickly.

"Yes, hopefully we can meet with figures soon, party leaders, especially figures who took part in the contest yesterday," said Gibran after the Eid prayer at Solo City Hall, Central Java, Wednesday, April 10.
