BOGOR - A resident of Tangkil Village, Caringin, was infected with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).

In the last two weeks, as many as 19 residents in the area were infected with dengue fever until they were rushed to the hospital.

Head of RW 01 Pakopen Village, Asep Gamal Maliki said dozens of residents had been affected by dengue since before Eid al-Fitr 1445 H.

The heads of the RT, and cadres were busy taking residents to the hospital for treatment.

"Until now 19 people in RW 01, 13 people have been treated, 6 people have not been treated," he said, Tuesday, April 16.

According to him, the thirteen people were treated at Ummi Hospital in Bogor, Ciawi Hospital to hospitals in Cicurug, Sukabumi.

The residents themselves have coordinated with the village government and the puskesmas, regarding the rise of dengue cases.

Fogging absorption has also been carried out to anticipate, and eradicate mosquito larvae in the area.

Asep hopes that this case will be a lesson for residents to further improve their healthy lifestyle and create a clean environment.

"So that in the future residents will pay more attention to health, especially the environment, so that there will be no more puddles of water that will cause mosquitoes to emerge," he hoped.

Separately, the Head of Caringin Sub-district, Ramdan Firdaus, confirmed that many of his citizens had dengue fever.

For the dengue case, he asked all village heads in Caringin to invite their citizens to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS).

"We urge you to eradicate dengue mosquito nests by conducting 3M and coordinating with the puskesmas," he said.
