Additional Ships Prepared In Banjarmasin Anticipate The Peak Of Eid Backflow

BANJARMASIN - Lebaran's backflow surge is expected to occur in the next two days. The Banjarmasin Class I Harbormaster Office and Port Authority (KSOP) stated that operators will add fleets on Wednesday (17/4) or D+7 Idul Fitri 1445 H.

This aims to anticipate a surge in sweeps with the Tanjung Perak Port route, Surabaya to Trisakti Port, Banjarmasin.

"On D+7 Lebaran, there is an additional one ship to transport the river. Even though today the peak of backflow is because the number of drivers has reached 2,000 people, but it is necessary to anticipate which time there will be a surge in passengers in a week from Java," he said, as reported by Antara, Monday, April 15.

Isak said there were five units of roro ships that were used alternately during the homecoming and backflows, including KM Dharma Kartika II, KM Dharma Rucitra, KM Mila Utama, KM Haida, and KM Niki Sejahtera.
