Police Re-implement One Way Semarang Dalkot Toll Road To Kalikangkung GT

The police have implemented a one-way system locally on the inner toll road of Semarang City to the Kalikangkung toll gate, along with the congestion of backflow in the capital city of Central Java.

"The current of vehicles from east to west passing through the Banyumanik Semarang toll gate is quite congested," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Satake Bayu Setianto, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, April 14.

According to him, vehicles that have passed outside the Banyumanik gate have reached 3 thousand hours in a row since morning.

In addition, there was a slowdown in the flow of vehicle traffic at KM 424 to 428 of the Semarang-Solo toll road.

The local one-way system starting from the inner toll road of Semarang City to the Kalikangkung gate is implemented to unravel the density of traffic flow.

Meanwhile, the one-way route from the Kalikangkung to Cikampek Utama Toll gate has continued since opening on Saturday (13/4) afternoon.

The Integrated Post at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate noted that the flow of vehicles passing in to the west or Jakarta from 06.00 to 12.00 WIB was recorded at 20.541 vehicles.

The average vehicle that passes during the return flow of Lebaran during that period is above 3 thousand vehicles per hour.

In the period from 11.00 to 12.00 WIB, it was recorded that the flow of vehicles passing through Kalikangkung reached more than 4 thousand vehicles.
