JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono reminded all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) not to extend the Eid holiday.
"In accordance with the regulations, what date will come in. The 16th is enough, right? It's been 10 days (Saturday and Sunday 6-7)," said Heru at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, April 10.
Heru said that later there would be sudden inspections (sidak) carried out in order to see firsthand the implementation of public services, as well as to supervise so that there would be no violations.
"First, you can't extend Lebaran unless certain conditions suddenly get sick. The next one is enough. For 10 days it's enough. There can't be an inspection given by the assistants, which of course there will be sanctions," explained Heru.
The government has set a schedule for holidays and joint leave for Lebaran 2024 for ASN/PNS. The rules for determining the holiday are contained in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 7 of 2024 concerning Joint Leave for State Civil Apparatus Employees in 2024.
The Presidential Decree was signed directly by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) some time ago. The Presidential Decree stipulates four days off with Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri which falls on 8, 9, 12, and 15 April 2024 (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Monday).
The holiday is outside of the two Eid Al-Fitr national holidays in 2024 or 1 Syawal 1445 Hijri which falls on 10 and 11 April 2024 (Wednesday and Thursday).
