Entering D-3 Lebaran 2024, KAI Calls 46,920 Passengers Departing From Gambir Station And Pasar Senen

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta noted that as many as 46,920 passengers will depart for homecoming from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen on D-3 Lebaran or Sunday, April 7, 2024.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager, Ixfan Hendriwintoko said, transportation departures for D-3 Lebaran 2024 are still relatively high considering that today is the second peak of the homecoming flow after April 6, which was closed with 47,820 long-distance train passengers (KAJJ).

So far, 46,920 passengers will depart from Gambir Station, Pasar Senen and several other stations in Daop 1 Jakarta, with 79 trips from KAJJ. From Gambir Station 41 trips from KAJJ and Pasar Senen Station 38 trips from KAJJ.

"Based on data today, April 7, 2024, a total of 46,920 tickets have been sold, 19,315 passengers departed Gambir Station, 26,663 passengers from Pasar Senen Station and the rest from other stations," said Ixfan in his official statement, Sunday, April 7.

For information, during the 2024 Eid Transport period, from March 31 to April 21, 20124, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta has provided 1,688 KAJJ trips with an average of 77 KAJJ trips per day, with details of 40 KAJJ trips departing from Gambir Station and 37 KAJJ trips departing from Pasar Senen Station.

"Of the total KAJJ trips, 963,948 seats/seaters have been provided with an average daily seat of 43,816 seats/seats," explained Ixfan.

To date, Sunday, April 7, 2024, 768,964 tickets have been sold for KAJJ departures from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen. From Gambir Station, 253,757 tickets were sold with 40 train trips per day, while train departures from Pasar Senen Station sold 515,207 tickets with 37 KAJJ trips per day.

Ixfan again reminded prospective passengers who want to leave using the train mode of transportation, to pay attention to the conditions of their journey. Among them, they do not carry excessive luggage, do not carry sharp weapons, illegal drugs of goods, animals and pungent/rotten food (such as durian, salted fish, dll).

Furthermore, not smoking during the journey on the train, at the border, or on the train toilets, and getting off at the station as stated in the train ticket (not exceeding the travel relationship).

Ixfan explained that sanctions for passengers who deliberately exceed the relationship will be lowered at the next stop station, and will be given sanctions up to a backlist for a certain time.

KAI also appealed to passengers who already have train tickets (KA) for Eid transportation to re-check their train departure schedule so that they don't get on the wrong plane and miss the train.
