Fired By PDIP, Bobby Nasution Makes Sure To Enter The Golkar Party

JAKARTA - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution confirmed that he would enter the Golkar Party after being fired from PDI-P (PDIP) cadres in November 2023. This was conveyed by Bobby after attending the Golkar Party regional head briefing event at the Golkar DPP office in the Slipi area, West Jakarta, Saturday 6 April. "God willing (entering the Golkar Party)," Bobby told reporters. However, Bobby admitted that currently he did not have a member sign card (KTA) of the Golkar Party. "God willing. So far (having a KTA)," said Bobby. In addition, Bobby said that he would run in the North Sumatra (North Sumatra) Governor Election (Pilgub) from the Golkar Party. However, he said that there were other names proposed by the Golkar Party, namely the former Deputy Governor of North Sumatra Musa Rajekshah.

Bobby also admitted that he had received the blessing of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to run in the North Sumatra gubernatorial election. Bobby believes his father-in-law will support his decision. "Yes, of course, parents will support it," said Bobby.
