The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts extreme weather in the NTT region until April 9, 2024 which can cause increased rainfall and have an impact on disaster events.

The information from the BMKG was also addressed by the Lembata BPBD by strengthening the village command chain which passed on information and reported any disaster events in the village.

"The village command chain is led directly by the village head who is connected for 24 hours to provide information on disaster events," said Andris.

According to him, disaster emergency handling will also be carried out if there is a disaster incident in accordance with incoming reports.
