Supervise Electric Angkot Trials In Bogor, Police Coordinate With City Government On Operational Hours

BOGOR - Bogor City Police Traffic Unit supervises the trial of electric city transportation (angkot) bound for Cidangiang-Suryakencana which will operate in the next three months.

Head of the Bogor City Police Traffic Unit, Kompol Galih Apria, said that his party was also coordinating with the City Government (Pemkot) regarding its operating hours and mobilization.

"We are monitoring this trial fully. We are also coordinating whether for three months the time is how many hours and so on. We are still discussing this," said Galih after kick off the electric angkot trial, Thursday.

Galih said that supervision was carried out in terms of the performance of angkot drivers. Starting from the feasibility of the driver, to the administration.

In addition, Galih said, his party also oversees the performance of the vehicles of the five electric angkot units that were tested. Is it in accordance with driving safety standards.

"Then the information side. So that people are not confused about what time the angkot will go up and anywhere. This will be discussed later," he said.

In addition, Galih appealed to this vehicle number plate to be transferred from a black plate to a yellow plate.

"Please immediately implement the transfer process to Bogor City. We will see in the future (installed) general or yellow plates that are usually used for other angkots," he said.

When asked whether the Traffic Unit would ticket the electricity angkot, Galih admitted that he would continue to supervise and control it completely.

"I think this is still a trial. We welcome this trial. However, in its implementation we will continue to monitor and fully control," said Galih.
