Vice President Says KS Can Accelerate Halal Ecosystems In North Sulawesi

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin said the Regional Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance (KDEKS) could accelerate the formation of a halal ecosystem in North Sulawesi (Sulut).

"I hope that the newly inauguratedks will move quickly to develop the sharia economy in North Sulawesi," said the Vice President when giving a speech at the national inauguration of the 28thlands in Manado, Thursday, April 4, which was confiscated by Antara.

The vice president said that the development of the halal ecosystem in the Nyiur Melambai area has been running for the last few years, but the inauguration has only been carried out.

He said that Bank Indonesia together with local governments must be able to develop the sharia economy in North Sulawesi, because it is one of the halal tourism destinations.

It must be admitted, he said, that North Sulawesi is an area with high tolerance, so that the implementation of the sharia economy will definitely run well.

The vice president also appreciated the Governor of North Sulawesi, Olly Dondokambey, who is the only regional head who understands the sharia economy well, because at the time he was still a member of the DPR RI together discussed this program.
