Arrested When Dugem In Discotheque, North Sumatra Langkat Education Office Head Positive For Drugs

The Head of the Langkat Regency Education Office, North Sumatra (North Sumatra) Muhammad Ridwan was caught in a raid at the Blue Star Discotheque in Langkat, on Tuesday, April 2 in the morning WIB. He and 73 other people were caught in a police raid at entertainment venues that continued to operate during Ramadan.

From the police investigation, Muhammad Ridwan tested positive for taking ecstasy pills. "It's true, positive for drugs," said Binjai Police Chief AKBP Rio Alexander Panenewan, Thursday, April 4 morning.

Rio said, not only the Head of the Langkat District Education Office who was positive for drugs, there were also dozens of other people. "There are 34 positive drugs. All of them have been handed over to the Binjai Regency National Narcotics Agency (BNNK)," he said.

He emphasized that the Binjai Police continued to explore where the drugs were obtained by visitors when they were raided at the discotheque. "We are still investigating who suppliers of ecstasy pills are," he said.
