Prabowo's Team After The Constitutional Court Session: Narratives 01 And 03 As If It Were Wow, It Turned Out That Tong Was Empty And The Sound Was Screened

JAKARTA - Prabowo-Gibran's legal team, Nicholay Aprilindo assessed that the explanation of the fact-witnesses and experts brought in by the KPU and Bawaslu in the 2024 presidential election dispute trial today was able to prove that the narrative of alleged election fraud was refuted.

Today, the KPU and Bawaslu clarified the alleged violations contained in the argument for the dispute over the results of the general election (PHPU) Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud as the applicants.

"All the narratives from applicant 01 and applicant 03, as if they were excited, turned out that after being clarified by witnesses and experts from the KPU and Bawaslu, everything was just like a loud empty barrel," Nicholay said after the Constitutional Court trial, Wednesday, April 3.

According to Nicholay, Bawaslu and the KPU have proven that the work of election organizers and supervisors is running closely to be able to carry out elections that are claimed to be legally accountable.

"As for the arguments of the candidate pair 1 and candidate pair 3 which have been submitted to the Constitutional Court at the panel of judges who tried today, all were refuted and broken by the testimonies of witnesses from Bawaslu and from the KPU and the experts they presented," he explained.

Continuing, the head of the Prabowo-Gibran legal team, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, views the presentation of experts and witnesses brought by the KPU and Bawaslu to the trial to help his party in winning the case against the Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud camps.

"What the KPU and Bawaslu did today really ease our workload because of all the narratives, all the speeches submitted by applicant 1 and applicant 2 which sound so powerful, but in court it turns out that they are unable to prove it," explained Yusril.

"It seems that the narrative is ready, but the evidence is poor," he continued.

The Constitutional Court (MK) has again held a follow-up hearing in the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial, today. The agenda is the examination of witnesses and evidence from the General Elections Commission (KPU) and the Election Supervisory Body (Baswaslu) as the respondent.

At this trial, the KPU presented one expert, namely Prof. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo. Then, there were two witnesses, namely Yudistira Dwi Wardhana Asnar who is the developer of Sirekap ITB and Andre Putra Hermawan as the KPU Pusdatin.

Meanwhile, Bawaslu is said to have presented one expert, namely Prof. Muhammad Alhamid, who is a Professor of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Hassanudin University. He also served as Chairman of the Indonesian Bawaslu for the 2012-2017 period.

Then, for witnesses, Bawaslu appointed seven people. They include Iji Jaelani, Hari Dermanto, Nur Kholiq, Sakhroji, Zacky M Zamzam, Umi Illiyina, and Bardul Munir. The witnesses are Indonesian Bawaslu experts and provincial Bawaslu commissioners.
