The Police Chief Invites Bekasi Residents To Want To Go Home For Eid, Leave Vehicles At The Police-Koramil Office

BEKASI - Bekasi Metropolitan Police Chief (Kpaolres) Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi said travelers from Bekasi Regency could deposit motorized vehicles at the police and Koramil offices without being charged.

He said this policy was based on the results of cross-sectoral coordination meetings at the Polda Metro Jaya and Kodam Jaya levels which instructed the Polres and Kodim offices as well as all Polsek and Koramil to become motor vehicle storage locations.

"Mr. Panglima Kodam Jaya and Kapolda ordered all ranks at the Polres, Polsek, Kodim, and Koramil to become motor vehicle storage locations," he said in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, Wednesday, April 3, which was confiscated by Antara.

Twedi said residents could entrust their vehicles on the condition that they bring valid ownership documents such as STNK or BPKB. This motorbike storage service is free of charge.

The requirement aims to make it easier to collect data and avoid problems when taking vehicles back.

"Of course, residents who can entrust the vehicle whose ownership is valid. Motorcycles and documents must be shown when entrusting the vehicle. So there are no problems when taking the vehicle back," he said.

Twedi admitted that he had ordered that each location for storing this vehicle be made a comfortable place and always under supervision.

Dandim 0509 Bekasi Regency Lt. Col. Inf. Danang Waluyo stated that his party participated in the vehicle storage program for travelers.

It is hoped that the maintenance of this vehicle will make travelers calm when leaving their vehicles during the Lebaran homecoming.

"Residents who go home using public transportation can calm down on their left vehicles," he said.
