D-7 Lebaran, Passenger Movement At Soekarno-Hatta Airport Reaches 130,000

TANGERANG - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) recorded the number of aircraft passenger movements at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta), Tangerang, Banten, today or D-7 before Lebaran 2024, will reach a total of 130 thousand passengers.

"Today is actually quite an increase, although it is not significant, there are 987 flights with 130 thousand passengers," said Executive General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura II KCU Soetta Dwi Ananda Wicaksana Airport in Tangerang, Banten, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.

He said the number of passengers would continue to increase until the peak period of homecoming flow on April 6, 2024 or D-4 Lebaran.

The projected movement of passengers at the peak of Lebaran homecoming is predicted to reach 188,000 people with 1,200 aircraft movements.

To anticipate this year's Eid transportation period, PT Angkasa Pura II has made a number of preparations, ranging from preparing 1,547 additional domestic and international flights at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, to deploying security personnel.

"For now, there are 74 extra flights on international aircraft routes and 1,473 extreme flights for domestic," he said.

In this case, his party has also deployed approximately 7,000 joint personnel ranging from aviation security, TNI/Polri, to officers guarding the integrated service post.

"In total, 7,000 officers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport have been prepared, including assistance from the TNI-Polri, which later additional administrative personnel will be placed to assist at the designated checkpoint or check point," he explained.
