Mother in China Threw Her 3-year-old Baby From the 22nd Floor of Her Apartment After Injuring Mother-in-law with a Knife

JAKARTA - A mother in China threw her 3 year old biological child out of the window of her 22nd floor apartment.

According to Asia One, Monday 1 April, the incident started with an argument between the perpetrator and his mother-in-law at their residence in the Chongqing region, China.

Her mother-in-law received injuries from the knife used by the perpetrator in the argument.

In video footage held by the police, the perpetrator is seen carrying the victim on the balcony of the 22nd floor apartment. Beside the two of them, another child is seen standing.

The mother surnamed He, who was holding the crying victim, then pushed the other child away.

Currently, the mother-in-law who was the victim of a knife wound is receiving treatment at the hospital. However, the injuries he suffered were said to be not fatal.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator has now been detained and the police are conducting an investigation regarding this case.

Relatives and neighbors said the perpetrator had shown abnormal behavior recently.
