TNI Commander: Coal Fire Investigation Cheaply Completed By Kodam Jaya Immediately

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto is targeting the investigation of the Kodam Jaya Regional Munisi Warehouse (Gud cheap) fire in Ciangsana Village, Bogor Regency, West Java, to be completed as soon as possible.

"Yes, as soon as possible. We have a unit that carries out an investigation at the TKP (the crime scene), it has been formed," Agus said in Bogor Regency, West Java, Sunday.

Agus then explained that the investigation team had been working and had been at the fire site since last night.

"Yes, we have military police. The investigation team has been at the location since night," he explained about the involvement of the unit in the investigation of the cheap Gud fire.

In addition to the fire investigation, Agus also explained that there was a Explosives Disposal Unit (Jhandak) that had combed into residential areas to look for projectile casings.

"The territorial apparatus has recorded, checked, toured the settlements to retrieve the remains of the debris and we have also appealed to the surrounding community if they find them to report to the authorities," he said.

The TNI Commander said that the Jihandak Team in carrying out its duties carried out a search in all areas around the burning warehouse within a two-kilometer radius.

Agus Subiyanto said that residents' houses affected by the cheap Gud fire would be given compensation.

"Yes, of course, later we will do the data, we will be combed by the territorial apparatus who are now working. Later, if there is damage to people's homes, we will change it," he promised.

Agus explained that the ammunition that had expired in the cheap Gud came from the remnants of training or findings.

"And systematically the ammunition will actually be detonated, its name will be disposal in Pameungpeuk (Garut Regency, West Java). Of course, through systematic inspection and so on," he said, quoted by Antara.

Agus also explained that since Sunday at 03.45 WIB, the fire in Gudpur Kodam Jaya has been extinguished.

Previously, the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) stated that the process of cooling the fire at the Regional Munition Warehouse (Gudmura) of Kodam Jaya, Ciangsana Village, Bogor Regency, was completed at 08.15 WIB.

"We declare that it will be completed because the hotspots, which have been at 85 degrees since last night. Thank God we have lowered them to a safe point," said Head of the Operations Section of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Gatot Sulaemandi, Bogor Regency, West Java, Sunday.

Gatot explained that the cooling process took almost eight to ten hours.

"The cooling for the old one is quite good, yes, since that night we turned off in warehouse 5, we were cooling down. We also extinguished warehouse 6. Thank God the warehouse was 6 from 01.00, approximately 01.00 hours, has been cooling down until this morning," he explained.

He said that during the cooling there was no explosion at two points where the blackout was extinguished, namely warehouse 5 and warehouse 6.

"If there was no explosion because we entered here, the condition was that there was no explosion," he said.
