The Explosion In The Bullet Warehouse Is Still Heard, But The Fire Is No Longer Visible

JAKARTA - The explosion at the Regional Munition Warehouse (Gud cheap) of the Regional Military Command Jaya TNI AD in Ciangsana, Bogor Regency, West Java, which occurred on Saturday, March 30, starting at 18.30 WIB until now is still ongoing.

As of 22.00 WIB, the explosion was still heard around the Cileungsi Tourism City. However, the flames were no longer visible.

According to information from the VOI TEAM, several ammunition such as grenades and bullets seemed to lie on the side of the road near residential areas.

"The current fire is not visible, maybe the new explosion of smoke from the explosion," said VOI TEAM, Achmad, whose house is in the Tourism City complex.

Achmad said residential areas around the City of Tourism received bullets and grenades from the impact of the devastating explosion.

Currently, he said, security forces from elements of the TNI-Polri are still sweeping around the point of explosion to evacuate active grenade grenades in residential areas.

"So far it is still being searched, most residential areas can be fired bullets and grenades, in the cluster area," he said.

Achmad revealed, initially there was a bang like a firecracker. Then the second explosion followed to coincide with the time of breaking the fast.

Achmad, who is the head of the local RT, immediately coordinated with other RTs to convey information and appeal to residents that there had been an explosion in a bullet warehouse near his housing complex in Cibubur Tourism City.

"Then I as the head of the RT in the cluster evacuated my family and residents to be evacuated for safekeeping," he said.

Achmad said that the residential area near the location of the explosion had been sterilized by the TNI. Including, power outages.

Meanwhile, for both fatalities and injuries, Achmad does not yet know further information. What is clear, he said, is that currently the explosion is still there and the cooling process around the housing complex is still not visible.

"So now we are still sweeping people's homes, ammunition. For now, the explosion is still ongoing, the cooling process is still unknown," he concluded.

Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad) Brigadier General Kristomei Sianturi said that as of 20.23 WIB, the fire was still burning the munitions warehouse complex.
