Putin Affirms The Issue Of Attacking Poland Blankly, Russia Will Shoot Fall F-16 West Supply For Ukraine

JAKARTA - Russia claims to have no plans against any NATO country and will not attack Poland, the Baltic States, or the Czech Republic.

But if the West supplies F-16 warplanes to Ukraine then they will be shot down by Russian troops, President Vladimir Putin.

"We have no aggressive intentions towards these countries," Putin said, according to a Kremlin transcript released Thursday, March 28.

Our thoughts will attack other countries - Poland, Baltic countries, and the Czechs are nonsense. It's just nonsense," he said.

The Kremlin, which accuses the US of fighting against Russia by supporting Ukraine through money, weapons and intelligence, said relations with Washington may never be as bad as this.

When asked about the promised West F-16 fighter to be delivered to Ukraine, Putin said the plane would not change the situation in Ukraine.

"If they supply the F-16, and they talk about this and it seems that they are training pilots, this will not change the situation on the battlefield," Putin said.

"And we will destroy the plane just like when we destroyed tanks, armored vehicles, and other equipment, including several rocket launchers."

Putin's statement follows Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba's comments earlier that the plane would arrive in Ukraine in the coming months.
