Bawaslu Continues The Case Of Bandarlampung KPU Members Receiving Money From Candidates To DKPP

BANDARLAMPUNG - Lampung Bawaslu continued or recommended the case of a member of the Bandarlampung KPU who allegedly received money from one of the legislative candidates to the Election Organizers Honorary Council (DKPP).

"Today, we have conveyed to the Honorary Council of Election Organizers (DKPP) regarding the issue of one of the commissioners of the Bandarlampung FT KPU, which was reported by the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)," said the Coordinator of the Lampung Province Bawaslu Election Violation Handling Division, Tamri, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 26.

According to him, based on the plenary meeting held by Bawaslu, all members agreed to decide that in this matter there was a violation of the code of ethics committed by FT's brother.

"FT has violated the code of ethics because it is strongly suspected of receiving the money," said Tamri.

He explained that the decision taken by Bawaslu Lampung against the person concerned was based on the results of a search and clarification from a number of parties who had been questioned.

"So, based on our search, FT is strongly suspected of receiving the money. This is based on the process of requesting information from a number of parties, where it is known that the person concerned has received the money," he said.

However, continued Tamri, FT denied that it had received a sum of money from the candidate in question.

"So, if the FT statement, the person concerned admitted to meeting the legislative candidate but denied receiving the money," he said.

It is known, Bawaslu Lampung registered a report by the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) on the alleged case of unscrupulous members of the Bandarlampung KPU who allegedly received a sum of money with certain agreements from legislative candidates from the PDI-P.
