Today Jokowi Visits Central Sulawesi, For 2 Days The President Checks Infrastructure And Distribution Of Social Assistance

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) paid a working visit to Central Sulawesi Province (Sulteng) from March 26 to 27, 2024, to inaugurate a number of public transportation infrastructures to distribute food aid.

Reporting from a statement from the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta, President Jokowi and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, to Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport, Banggai Regency, using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 06.50 WIB.

President Jokowi's departure at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base was released by the Jaya Military Commander Major General Mohamad Hasan, Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Karyoto, Commander of Koopsud I Marsda TNI Mohammad Nurdin, and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma Marsma TNI Destianto Nugroho Utomo.

Arriving in Banggai Regency, President Jokowi continued his journey by using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter to Banggai Islands Regency.

President Jokowi started his visit to one of the traditional markets in Banggai Islands and continued to Salakan City to attend the inauguration of the regional road Inpres.

After carrying out activities in Banggai Islands Regency, President Jokowi will return to Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport to then take off to Mutiara SIS Al-Jufri Airport, Palu City.

The Head of State will inaugurate the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Mutiara SIS Al-Jufri Airport and inaugurate a number of other airports.

After that, President Jokowi will inaugurate the Anutapura Medical Center (AMC) Building at the Anutapura Hospital, Palu City, and a number of other infrastructures.

On the second day of his visit to Palu City, President Jokowi is scheduled to go to Pantoloan Port to inaugurate the Pantoloan Port rehabilitation and reconstruction project, Donggala Port, and Wani Port.

This activity was coupled with President Jokowi's visit to the Gumbasa Dam in Sigi Regency to sign the inscription as well as inaugurate the irrigation rehabilitation and reconstruction project in the local area.

President Jokowi's visit to Central Sulawesi ended by reviewing Bulog facilities in Toli-toli Regency, as well as handing over food aid to residents in Kalangkanggan Village, Galang District.

Also accompanying President Jokowi on a flight to Central Sulawesi Province were Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono, Presidential Military Secretary Major General Rudy Saladin, and Paspampres Commander Major General TNI Achiruddin.
