Bobby Nasution Closes The Forces Of Heaven Seven Club Medan Which Operates During Ramadan

Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution carried out a surprise inspection (sidak) by forcibly closing the Heaven Seven Club nightclub in the holy month of Ramadan.

The reason is, this nightclub on Jalan Abdullah Lubis Medan does not heed the Circular Letter of the Mayor of Medan Number 400-8-2-3/1871 dated March 6, 2024.

"The temporary closure of entertainment and recreation businesses will take effect from March 10 to April 10, 2024," said Bobby as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 25.

This policy was issued by his party, to respect and at the same time respect Muslims in carrying out the holy month of Ramadan and celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1445 H.

But in fact, the Heaven Seven Club does not respect the fasting month of Muslims in Medan City while still operating.

Even some time ago this entertainment venue was visited by the village head, but management did not heed the appeal to temporarily close.

"I made sure directly by conducting inspections. I even disguised myself as a visitor on Saturday (23/3) at around 22.40 WIB," said Bobby.

At the location, the Mayor of Medan admitted that he pretended to ask the security officers whether they could enter the Heaven Seven Club.

"Open this? Can you come in?," asked Bobby. "Can you please open this," said the security officer who was at the nightclub without realizing he was the Mayor of Medan.

At that time, Bobby came alone without the relevant regional apparatus organizations (OPD).

Only after he entered and conducted inspections, a number of OPDs to the Medan City Forkompinda docked, such as the Medan Police.

The head of the Medan City Civil Service Police Unit, Rakhmat Harahap, confirmed that Mayor Bobby Nasution went straight to the nightclub.

"The mayor also asked the management to close it," he said.
