US Caucasians Found Covered In Blood In Kuta, Allegedly Tried Suicide With Beer Bottles

The Head of Public Relations of the Denpasar Police, AKP I Ketut Sukadi, confirmed that a man from the United States (US) with the initials LP was lying covered in blood at an inn in Bakung Sari, Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.

AKP Sukadi said the victim was suspected of having attempted suicide using broken beer bottles.

"This was confirmed by checking the wound by the doctor at Murni Teguh Hospital who stated the wound was due to broken beer bottles that were secured at the crime scene," he said, Monday, March 25.

The foreigner was found lying covered in blood on the second floor near the bentong bale at the inn on Jalan Bakung Sari, Kuta, at around 07.40 WITA.

The victim was taken to Murni Teguh Hospital shortly after being found lying down. At the location was found, broken beer bottles.

"That the victim only suffered an open wound to the right neck and the victim was conscious," he said.
