Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto said that the Government continues to monitor the movement of terrorism in Indonesia.

Hadi conveyed this in response and anticipating the possibility of a terror attack such as in Moscow, Russia.

"For early detection, including monitoring of terrorist networks, especially ISIS, will continue to be carried out," Hadi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 25.

His party has discussed this with the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT), the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), and the Special Detachment 88 of the National Police Headquarters.

"Earlier, we discussed between BNPT and BIN, as well as Kadensus (88 Police Headquarters), everything continues to be monitored, both movements, including their activities," he said.

In addition, Hadi explained that the Government is also trying to detect terrorist networks of single actors or lone wolf.

"Once again, the government will still not provide space, and will always carry out actions if they will carry out these unfavorable activities," he said.

A terrorist attack took place at the Crocus City Hall concert building in Krasnogorsk, a city located west of the Russian capital, Moscow, Friday (22/3) local time.

Based on data from the Russian Investigative Committee on Saturday (23/3), cited from Sputnik, the death toll in the attack is reported to have increased to 133 people.

Launching TASS, a court in Basmany District, Moscow, detained the four suspected Crocus City Hall striker Muhammadsobir Fayzov from Monday to May 22, 2024.

The court hearing took place behind closed doors. According to the investigation, Fayzov was tasked with recording the attack on the concert building.

Until now, the court has arrested the four defendants, namely Dalerdzhon Mirzayev, Saidakrami Rachabalizodu, Shamsidin Fariduni, and Muhammadsobir Fayzov.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) confirmed that until Saturday (23/3) no Indonesian citizens were reported to be victims of the attack.

"The Indonesian Embassy in Moscow will immediately coordinate with local authorities and establish communication with the Indonesian people in Russia," said Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Judha Nugraha.
