France Level Alerts Terror To Highest Level After Attacks In Moscow

JAKARTA - France raised the terror alert warning to its highest level following an attack claimed to be masterminded by ISIS at the Crocus City Hall, Moscow, Russia.

French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal announced a terror alert after meeting security and defense officials with President Emmanuel Macron.

As reported by Reuters on Monday, March 25, in a post on X, Attal said the decision was taken months before Paris hosted the ISIS archipelago Olympics claiming responsibility for the attack on Moscow's Focus City Hall.

There are three levels of the terror warning system in France. This level allows extraordinary security measures such as increasing patrols of security forces in public places such as public transportation and places of worship

Terror near the capital Moscow took place on Friday, March 23, evening. Lmima, a gunman, opened fire at the Crocus City Hall concert building in Krasnogorsk City.

Eleven suspects involved in terrorist attacks have been arrested, including four hitmen trying to flee to the Ukrainian border.

President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address that, according to preliminary information, Ukraine had prepared a "gap" at the border so terrorists could cross it.

He vowed to identify and hold everyone accountable behind the Crocus City Hall attack.
