Democrats Grateful To Leave The Coalition For Change To Join KIM, AHY: Joining Prabowo Is God's Way

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono or AHY feels grateful that the party he leads has left the Change Coalition and joined the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) which carries Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, as presidential candidates (candidates) and vice presidents of vice presidents).

According to him, the choice of carrying Prabowo-Gibran as God's way to help the Democratic Party achieve victory. He believes this is one of God's ways to guide him with Prabowo as the right person.

"The move of the Democratic Party to KIM is the best way. This is all the best way that Allah has given to all of us and we have received a lot of wisdom. Once again we imagine. Let's just try to stay in the old place (The Coalition for Change), it will be destroyed," AHY said last weekend.

The eldest son of the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) said that the Democratic Party was not a party that easily expressed its position.

Kita tahu belum selesai (pilpres) semua sudah ke sana ke sini. Kalau kita di sana kemarin, ya akan diberikan sendiri. Yang lain sudah ke sana ke sini, karena kita tidak mudah menyatakan begitu- begitu, kan? ujarnya yang insinuasi Koalisi Perubahan yang tampak tidak solid.

AHY, who is the minister of agrarianism and spatial planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), claims that joining the government is an effort that must be made to fight for the interests of the community. He admitted that so far the ideas or proposals submitted by the Democratic Party were difficult to realize because they were outside the government.

"All of that can come back if we return to the government. People's aspirations are fought for. The Prabowo-Gibran pair was elected as the president-vice president of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term with a very good achievement of 58.58%, one round," he said.

AHY also mentioned the hard work of the Democratic Party which contributed to victory in East Java and various regions in Indonesia.

"And that one round of big wins cannot be separated from the struggle of the Democratic Party. This then becomes not surprising when many parties appreciate it," he explained.

The Democratic Party's struggle to win the Prabowo- Gibran pair has also been conveyed several times by the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo.

"This means that the Democratic Party is considered to have carried out its duties with full responsibility, with a solid political party engine that we managed not only to win East Java but also in various regions in Indonesia," he said.

In addition to the hard work of all cadres of the Democratic Party, the hard work was also mainly shown by the Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyomo (SBY) who came down the mountain.

Until AHY said, Prabowo's victory in East Java reached 66%. This is a history that he had never previously achieved in the province, this time he won with a large percentage as well.
