Meeting The Boss Of The Nutrition Agency, Erick Thohir Ensures That SOEs Support Free Nutrition Eating Programs

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir met with the Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana. The two discussed the support of state-owned companies in the free lunch program.

The second meeting was revealed by Erick Thohir through a photo uploaded on his Instagram social media @erickthohir.

At a meeting with the Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana, Erick was accompanied by SOE directors from Pertamina, PLN, BRI, Bank Mandiri, BNI, Telkomsel, PGN and BKI.

"We from BUMN ensure that we are ready to collaborate and support the National Nutrition Agency to implement the Free Nutrition Eating Program which is one of the visions of the President General of the TNI (Ret.) Prabowo Subianto," he said, quoted on Tuesday, November 5.

Erick admitted that he would map the whereabouts of each state-owned company in supporting the program.

"It's just possible that the collapsivity in each BUMN is carried out according to the mapping and the presence in their respective locations," he explained.

Furthermore, Erick said, the Free Nutrition Food program will be a big investment to meet the intake of children who will become the backbone of Indonesia's future.

"With this program, Indonesian children can become superior seeds when leading Indonesia Gold 2045," he wrote.

Meanwhile, in the video uploaded by Erick, Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana said the free nutritious eating program is a long-term investment in human resources (HR).

"Because Pak Prabowo wants to make a massive investment in human resources to welcome Indonesia Gold 2045. That is a long-term investment from the Indonesian government," said Dadan.

Dadan also said that the pattern of growth in children has two peak points that need to be considered. First, in 1,000 days in the womb of mothers to prevent children born stunting.

"Where it is stunting can usually be overcome. Then, the second peak we need to pay attention to is when children grow from 8 to 17 years old," he said.
