UN Secretary General: We Have No Power To Stop War In Gaza

JAKARTA - United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres admitted that the world body does not have the power to stop the Israeli regime's war in Gaza. " “ you can't see so many people killed, you can't see too much suffering without deep frustration & helicopter; We don't have the power to stop (war in Gaza), I urge those in power to do so," Guterres said during a press conference in El Arish Egypt quoted from Al Jazeera, Sunday, March 24. The Secretary General of the United Nations visited the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt, as part of its “ annual solidarity ” journey to Muslim countries during the holy month of Ramadan. It was also stated that his trip this year was aimed at “ miriing the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza ”. On that occasion, Guterres also spoke of humanitarian aid being stockpiled on the Egyptian side of the border with Gaza as the Israeli regime continued to ban entry to the aid to Gaza.

“More than tragic. This is a moral insult, ” he said while calling for the war to be stopped again and warning that further attacks would exacerbate the situation.
