PDAM Corruption Suspects In Gorontalo Increase By 3 People

GORONTALO - The suspect in the corruption case of the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) project of the Dungingi Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Gorontalo City at the Gorontalo City Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office, Gorontalo increased by three people.

Head of the District Attorney's Office (Kajari) Edy Hartoyo said the three suspects, namely RB as a budget user, ZM as the power user of the budget, and DA who is known to be a technical activity official.

"ZM and DA have been detained, while the suspect RB has previously been summoned but the person concerned is still out of town," said Kajari as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 22.

The determination and detention of the three suspects from the Gorontalo City PUPR Service, said Kajari, had certainly gone through several processes and was declared to have fulfilled two pieces of evidence.

He said it had become a consideration and the results of calculations from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) that whatever was done after the set deadline was no longer taken into account.

The determination and detention of the three new suspects is based on an investigation warrant from the Head of the Gorontalo City Prosecutor's Office Number Sprin 30 March 22, 2024.

According to him, as stated in the letter of determination of suspects Number B567 and B587 dated March 22, 2004, the Gorontalo City Prosecutor's Investigation Team proposed and named three suspects.

Previously, from Wednesday to Thursday, his party had determined four people, namely MYA, who is the Director at PT. Raya Synergis, RCT and MREP as the parties involved in project implementation, as well as HRN as the Chair of the CV Supervision Team. NK.

"With the addition of three new suspects, the total number of suspects in this case has reached seven people," said Kajari.
