Paniai Police Chief AKBP Abdus Syukur said two helicopters were deployed to evacuate the bodies of three KKB shooting victims from Pol 99 Post, Paniai Regency, Central Papua. "There were two helicopters used to evacuate the bodies of three victims of the KKB shooting, two of whom were members of the National Police. The evacuation to Nabire was carried out without interruption, immediately taken to Nabire Hospital for the relocation of the bodies," said Paniai Police Chief AKBP Abdus Syukur to Antara, Friday, March 22. According to him, the shooting case occurred on Wednesday, March 20, which killed two members of the National Police, namely Bripda Arnaldobert and Bripda Sandi Defrit and a civilian, Dani, due to injury. In addition to killing three people, the KKB also opened fire on helicopters and damaged them. It is scheduled for Saturday tomorrow that the body of Bripda Sandi Defri will be evacuated to Jayapura, while his colleague Bripda Arnaldobert will be buried in Nabire. When asked about the addition of troops to Pol 99 Post, the Paniai Police Chief admitted that there had been additional personnel. "Indeed, personnel have been added to strengthen Pol Pol 99 Ndeotadi," explained Paniai Police Chief AKBP Abdus Syukur.

To reach Pos Pol 99 can only be reached using helicopters from Nabire, Nabire Regency or Enarotali, Paniai Regency, Central Papua.
