DKI BPBD: Be Careful! 11 RT And 23 Roads In Jakarta Flood, Here's The Distribution

JAKARTA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Jakarta noted that 11 RTs and 23 roads in the capital were flooded due to heavy rains that had occurred since early morning.

"BPBD noted that currently 12 RTs or 0.039 percent of the 30.772 RTs and 22 inundated roads in the DKI Jakarta area," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji in his statement, Friday, March 22.

As of 09.00 WIB, the flood submerged 11 RTs in West Jakarta and 1 RT in East Jakarta. The details are 3 RTs in Kapuk Village with water levels reaching 30 centimeters, 1 RT in Cengkareng Barat Village with water levels reaching 60 centimeters.

Then 3 RTs in Kedaung Village with water levels reaching 30 centimeters, 2 RTs in South Sukabumi Village with water levels reaching 30 centimeters, 2 RTs in Joglo Village with water levels reaching 50 centimeters.

Then, 1 RT in East Jakarta is in Rawa Terate Village with a water level of 50 centimeters.

Meanwhile, floods on 22 roads spread across West Jakarta and North Jakarta. The details are:

BPBD DKI Jakarta mobilizes personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate elements of the Natural Resources Service, Highways Office, Gulkarmat Service to carry out inundation suction and ensure that the water lines function properly together with the local village heads and sub-district heads.

In addition, the DKI Jakarta BPBD also coordinates with the Social Service, AGD Health Office, PMI for handling refugees.

"The inundation is targeted to recede in a short time. BPBD DKI urges the public to remain careful and alert to potential inundation," concluded Isnawa.
