JAKARTA - Deputy for Law for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud MD, Todung Mulya Lubis was surprised that the number three pair did not excel in a number of areas that became the PDI-P's vote base (PDIP) such as Central Java and Bali. He said this defeat could not be trusted and implied that something was wrong in the 2024 presidential election.

"I, as the Deputy for Law from Paslon 03 Ganjar-Mahfud, participated in campaigns in several places. I never believed why the Ganjar-Mahfud could not win in Bali even though it was PDIP's stronghold," Todung told reporters at the GAMA Command Post, Jalan Teuku Umar, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 20.

"Why did Ganjar lose in Central Java, why did Ganjar lose in North Sulawesi. Unbelievable. NTT too. So for me, there's something wrong with the election, something is wrong with the election process," he continued.

This condition makes the Ganjar-Mahfud camp firmly file a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court (MK), said Todung. However, this step was requested not as a way to reject the election results.

"It's not that we reject the election but we want to correct and correct those mistakes," he said.

This senior advocate said the lawsuit to the Constitutional Court would be submitted on March 24. "We have three days and after that we prepare everything," concluded Todung.
