JAKARTA - Bawaslu member Totok Hariyono asked his staff to prepare and collect a supervisory report (LHP) sourced from findings and complaints during the 2024 election stage to deal with disputes over the results of general elections at the Constitutional Court.

"I want to see the readiness of Bawaslu friends ahead of the PHPU in the Constitutional Court. So, from now on, we have started collecting LHPs sourced from Form A, Bawaslu findings, public complaints, to appeals to election participants during pre-, campaigning, to calm day," Totok said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 18.

This was conveyed by Totok when giving directions to the Bawaslu ranks online at the Discussion Meeting on the Development of the Initial Materials for the 2024 General Election Result Dispute (PHPU).

Totok asked the Bawaslu ranks to separate the LHPPilpres and legislative elections due to differences in the PHPU's standing at the Constitutional Court.

In addition, he asked for special LHP in case of alleged violations committed in a structured, systematic and massive manner (TSM) in their respective regions.

According to him, the petition for election participants regarding PPPU in the Constitutional Court will more often be argued as a TSM application.

"So, the preparation of the LHP for the PHPU trial will be separated from the presidential and legislative elections, especially highlighted if there is a special incident about TSM," he said.
