3 Police Security Schemes Face Demonstration Ahead Of The Determination Of The Results Of The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The National Police has prepared three security schemes to deal with demonstrations ahead of the determination of the results of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) calculation. It is known that there are four locations that will become points of demonstration, namely, the General Election Commission (KPU), the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), the Constitutional Court (MK), and the Indonesian Parliament. "In the meeting we have built three simulations (security schemes)," said the Head of the National Police, Komjen Fadil Imran, to reporters, Monday, March 18. However, it was not clearly conveyed about the scheme that was wasted to deal with the situation during the demonstration. "Of course, if the situation is sloping normally, we will still apply normal situations. But if there is an increase in escalation, of course, umentive and preventive," he said. In addition, Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, said that his party would oversee and secure all activities to express opinions in public. About four thousand more personnel were deployed to guard the demonstration so that it runs safely and peacefully.

"We do not technically convey the points, but globally, of course there are 4,992 personnel," said Trunoyudo.
