The General Election Commission (KPU) is close to completing the recapitulation of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). Related to this, the National Police has prepared a security scheme if one of the pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates submits a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court (MK). "We have also prepared a greeting plan to oversee, secure the proceedings of the series of trials that will be held at the Constitutional Court related to the dispute over the election results," said the Head of the National Police's Office, Komjen Fadil Imran, to reporters, Monday, March 18. The scheme prepared reflects the 2019 election. Where, there were riots ranging from the process of determining the results of the presidential election vote calculations to the trial at the Constitutional Court. "The experience in 2019 is a lesson for all of us that we all must unite to accept what has become the choice of society, the choice of the people so that in terms of disputes related to independence, there are dispute resolution paths through PHPU in the Constitutional Court," he said. However, Fadil said that from the reports received there has been no movement from certain groups that have the potential for chaos. "Until now, based on the reports we received from the ranks, thank God the situation is conducive, the situation is safe," he said. On the other hand, regarding the upcoming demonstration for three consecutive days, Fadil stated that his party had anticipated it. Thousands of personnel have been deployed.

"We certainly have anticipated it, we have identified and taken persuasive steps, we continue to prioritize education," said Fadil.
