PLN Again Holds Homecoming With SOEs, Here's How To Register And Stage

JAKARTA - Ahead of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri, PT PLN (Persero) in collaboration with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) opened the 'pleasant Homecoming with SOEs' program whose registration is open starting March 16, 2024.

PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo revealed that this time PLN provided a quota of 10 thousand seats.

"Alhamdulillah, PLN provides more than 10 thousand quotas of homecoming spread throughout Indonesia. This program is an annual routine agenda held by the company together with the Ministry of SOEs," said Darmawan in his statement to the media, Saturday, March 16.

Darmawan explained, this joint homecoming agenda departs from the high statistics of travelers using motorbikes that have the highest vulnerability compared to other vehicles. Furthermore, this agenda will also suppress the use of private vehicles in order to reduce carbon emissions from the transportation sector.

"In this program, we provide safe and comfortable modes of bus, ship and train transportation for all participants. We hope that this will not only reduce congestion and accident risk, but also pollution," added Darmawan.

Darmawan detailed that PLN opened 6,500 departure quotas from Jakarta and 1,000 quotas each from Bandung, Medan, Makassar, and Balikpapan. With the many quotas provided, PLN invites all people who are interested in participating and downloading the PLN Mobile application and immediately register. The mechanism for registering the Homecoming program is Fun with SOEs in 2024, namely:

1. Participants are required to download the PLN Mobile2 application. 1 PLN Mobile account can only be used for one registration.3. Open the PLN Mobile Application and click the Homecoming banner Fun with SOEs to fill out the registration form. 4. Fill in your personal data properly, according to the Identity Card (KTP) for individual participants and Family Cards (KK) for family participants, where 1 KK is a maximum of 4 people.5. The formal must be filled by prospective travelers and cannot be represented.6. To maintain the commitment of homecoming participants on the days of D departure, each participant is required to transfer a security fee of IDR 100,000 per person and will be returned in the form of an electricity voucher worth IDR 100,000 per person. The guarantee money cannot be returned if the participant cancels departure. 7. If the quota is fulfilled, then registration will be closed at any time before the set time.

Re-registration and confirmation will be carried out from March 25 to April 4, 2024 to ensure departure majors. For departures from Jakarta, taking homecoming kits and returning guarantees in the form of electricity vouchers are carried out at the PLN Central office.

"Especially for the departure of homecoming together from Jakarta, it will be carried out simultaneously on April 5, 2024, for the train fleet to depart from Pasar Senen Station, while the bus fleet will depart from two locations, namely the Central PLN office and Monas Field," Darmawan explained.
