DKI Residents Question The Cash Social Assistance In February Has Not Been Disbursed, Pemprov Asks For Patience

JAKARTA - Many DKI residents have questioned that the cash social assistance (BST) from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in February has not been disbursed. They are confused, until now, the nominal BST deposit of Rp. 300 thousand in the DKI Bank account has not been received.

One of them, the Twitter account @fikcripts asked the official account of the DKI Pemprov, @DKIJakarta regarding the timing of disbursement of BST from Bank DKI.

This question was answered by the DKI Provincial Government. The provincial government asked residents to be patient because the February BST had not been disbursed. This is because DKI has to hand over the BST allotment to all recipients before depositing the second month's BST.

The provincial government said, until the end of February, the Social Service was still distributing BST to beneficiary residents who had not yet received a savings book and ATM card in the February allotment.

"As of the end of February 2021, the Social Service is still distributing Savings Books and ATM Cards for Beneficiaries who did not attend the first and second invitations," replied @DKIJakarta.

The DKI Provincial Government apologizes for the inconvenience of residents who have not received BST in February. Residents are asked to wait until the second phase of BST disbursement can be disbursed.

For information, there are two parties who distribute cash assistance to DKI residents with a nominal value of Rp. 300 thousand per month for four months. Apart from the DKI Pemprov, as many as 750 thousand families were handed over through PT Pos by the Ministry of Social Affairs.

In Jakarta, cash assistance distribution locations to 1,055,216 families are located in 160 location points from each administrative city area of DKI Jakarta. The BST is distributed through the account and given in the form of a Bank DKI Savings Card and ATM Card.

In retrieval, cash assistance recipients are required to bring invitations, ID cards and family cards in original and photocopied forms. If the BST Recipient is unable to attend according to the distribution schedule, the recipient will be invited back on the second invitation and the third invitation made after the first distribution is complete.
