Jakut Police Chief Asks Teens To Be Involved In Community Activities During Ramadan

North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol. Gidion Arif Setyawan asked teenagers to always be involved in a number of community activities throughout the holy month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri so that they do not run for negative activities.

"If there are many positive activities and teenagers are involved, it will reduce the potential for brawls between teenagers and other delinquency," said Kombes Pol Gidion in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday, March 16.

He said he had instructed all ranks of the North Jakarta Metro Police, especially in the police stations to hold positive activities involving teenagers to fill the month of Ramadan.

"Starting from being involved in Tarawih prayers and giving advice in the month of Ramadan and conveying kamtibmas messages to residents," he said.

Likewise with security in the community to involve young people so that they are used to being given responsibility.

"They will feel appreciated and are in the right environment to grow up in people's lives," he said.

In addition, Kombes Pol Gidion invites residents to strengthen interaction and communication with one another as an effort to prevent criminal acts in their area.

"Socialization of interactions between neighbors is very important and is the key to maintaining the security and security situation in an area," he said.

He said strengthening the community structure can be done by providing all citizens with participation in maintaining security and environmental order.

"We cannot avoid the current residential environment and let's bring positive energy and make all families so that everyone can take care of each other," he said.
