PKB Wants To Carry Ida Fauziyah And Hasbiallah Ilyas In The DKI Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Hasanuddin Wahid revealed that his party is eyeing the names of two cadres who are likely to be promoted in the election for the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta.

The two names are the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah and Member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Hasbiallah Ilyas. The two cadres have now passed the DPR legislative election.

"There is a lot of stock for PKB for DKI. There are members of the DPR RI elected South Jakarta, Mrs. Ida Fauziah. There is a chairman of the DPD PKB who was also elected as a member of the DPR RI in East Jakarta, Mr. Hasbiallah Ilyas," Hasanuddin said at NasDem Tower, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Friday, March 15.

However, Hasanuddin admitted that the two names of PKB cadres proposed to be the cagub of DKI still needed to be discussed with the two coalition parties, namely NasDem and PKS.

"Well, it's up to friends from Nasdem and PKS, these names deserve to be considered or not. Yes, if not, we'll look for a bigger name," said Hasanuddin.

Today, NasDem, PKB, and PKS officially agreed to continue the coalition that has been established in the 2024 presidential election brought to the DKI Jakarta Pilkada.

This was announced after a meeting between the secretary-general and provincial-level party officials which took place at NasDem Tower.

Even so, the three parties have not formulated the names that will be carried out in the DKI gubernatorial election.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the DKI Jakarta PKS DPW, Khoriudin, admitted that his party is still open to capturing the names that will be carried in the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.

However, PKS hopes that Anies Baswedan will be promoted back to become the cagub of DKI Jakarta if he loses the 2024 presidential election.

"I met Mr. Anies last Thursday, I have conveyed directly that we are waiting for the results of the KPU first. After that, we will officially convey whether Mr. Anies will run again as governor of DKI Jakarta or not. What is clear is Mr. Anies, the assets of Jakarta residents for the people," explained Khoirudin.

Meanwhile, the NasDem Party has targeted the name of the cadre who will be promoted as a candidate for governor, namely the General Treasurer of NasDem Ahmad Sahroni.
