Thursday Tomorrow, Central Jakarta District Court Holds Initial Session Of 7 Suspects In The Case Of Adding DPT PPLN Kuala Lumpur

JAKARTA - The AGO public prosecutor team has delegated a case of alleged election crime, related to the addition of data on the Kuala Lumpur voter list (DPT), Malaysia to the Central Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, March 13 and the plan for the inaugural trial to be held on Thursday.

The seven people are the Kuala Lumpur overseas election committee (PPLN) regarding the alleged increase in the number of voters, namely Umar Faruk, Tita Octavia Cahya Rahayu, Dicky Saputra, Aprijon, Puji Sumarsono, A Khalil, and Masduki Khamdan Muchamad.

The inaugural trial, which will be held on Thursday, February 14, will read out the indictment by the public prosecutor (JPU). It is planned that the trial will be held at 10:00 WIB and chaired by the chairman of the panel of judges, Buyung Dwikora.

The determination of the suspect was based on the results of the case title on Wednesday, February 26. The suspects are suspected of deliberately adding or reducing the voter list after a fixed voter list (DPT) was determined or deliberately falsifying data and voter lists.

This is as referred to in Article 545 and/or Article 544 of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections that took place at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the period around June 21, 2023 until now.
