KPU Announces Total 2024 Legislative Campaign Funds: PDIP's Largest Nominal, Smallest Ummah Party

JAKARTA - The General Elections Commission (KPU) released reports on campaign receipts and expenditures (LPPDK) for the 2024 General Election participants. LPPDK presents all campaign receipts and expenditures in the form of money, goods, and services using an activity approach.

The LPPDK bookkeeping process began when the election participants were determined until the end of the campaign period.

Based on the listing of participants in the 2024 Legislative Election, the political party with the largest nominal total campaign funds is the PDI-P, while the political parties with the most minimal campaign funds are the Ummat Party.

KPU commissioner Idham Holik said, apart from LPPDK, the election participants had submitted initial reports of campaign funds (LADK) and reports of campaign fund donors (LPSDK).

"The report on the campaign funds for the election participants contains financial information in the form of all receipt and/or expenditure transactions used by election participants to finance campaign activities," said Idham in his statement, Thursday, March 7.

In the process, reports of campaign funds for election participants during the campaign period were submitted to the public accounting firm (KAP) appointed by the KPU no later than 15 days after voting day, no later than 23.59 local time.

"After receiving the 2024 Election Contesting Campaign Fund Report, the KAP appointed by the KPU will conduct an audit of the reports received no later than 30 days from the time the KAP receives a campaign fund report from the election participants," explained Idham.

Idham explained that the KPU facilitated the process of submitting reports of political party campaign funds at the central level.

Meanwhile, the submission of reports on campaign funds for provincial and district/city level political parties was carried out by the provincial KPU, as well as local Aceh political parties were also facilitated by the Independent Aceh Election Commission (KIP Aceh).
