Not Robbed, Students Died On Jalan Bangka It Turned Out That The Victims Of Inter-school Brawls Were Victims

JAKARTA - The police arrested four minors, the perpetrator of the brawl that caused the victim with the initials SA to die, on Jalan Bangka 9, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Sunday, March 3, early in the morning.

Mampang Prapatan Police Chief, Commissioner David Kanito said the two perpetrators were admins from the two groups, the other two were the main perpetrators of the murder.

"Total empat anak. Dua anak adalah pelaku utama yang menyebabkan korban meninggal dunia, dan dua anak lainnya selaku admin dari akun kedua sekolah," kata David kepada wartawan di Polres Tangerang Selatan, Kamis, 7 Maret.

David explained that the case report received initially was the burglary of an unknown person. However, when investigated it turned out to be a victim of a brawl.

"There is a fact that the actual incident was based on CCTV and the statements of witnesses at the crime scene, that the incident was not a robbery or theft and violence. But a brawl between 2 groups," he said.

Then the police conducted an examination, the results were identified that the clashes had indeed been planned by the two groups through social media.

"From there we developed it and the team managed to find the child with the initials MRF as the account owner," he said.

On that basis, his party carried out developments until finally four child perpetrators were arrested. Then they were taken to the Mampang Prapatan Police.

The 4 perpetrators were named as suspects and charged under Article 355 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 170 of the Criminal Code, are more subsidiary to Article 353 of the Criminal Code and also Article 2 paragraph 1 of the Emergency Law number 12 of 1951.

"With a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison," he concluded.
