BANDA ACEH - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) again destroyed four hectares of marijuana fields from three different points in the Aceh Besar District area.

"The destruction in two different locations, with a total area of four hectares," said Narcotics Director Deputy for Eradication of BNN Brigadier General Rudi Setiawan as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 6.

The three locations for the destruction are two points of cannabis land, some of which have been harvested at an altitude of 129 MDPL and 109 MDPL in Lamlung Village, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar.

"From the two locations, a total of two hectares of land was found. There are five thousand cannabis trees with heights ranging from 50 cm to 200 cm with a planting distance of 50 cm," he said.

BNN also found and destroyed two hectares of marijuana fields at an altitude of 600 MDPL in Meurah Village, Mukim Lamteuba, Seulimeum District, Aceh Besar.

"There are 15,000 cannabis trees ready to harvest with heights ranging from 100 cm to 200 cm with a planting distance of 10 cm to 90 cm," he said.

Thus, he continued, the total wet weight of the cannabis plant destroyed from the three points where the land was found was approximately seven tons.
