NasDem Will Continue Letter Rights Even Though Other Political Parties Resign

The General Treasurer of the NasDem Party DPP, Ahmad Sahroni, ensured that his party would continue the right of inquiry for alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election in the DPR even though later other political parties withdrew or withdrew proposals.

"NasDem is in accordance with the direction of the general chairman. Yesterday Pak Sugeng said he would continue the right of inquiry even though PDIP did not participate," said Sahroni at the DPR building, Wednesday, March 6.

According to the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, the right of inquiry will be the legitimacy for the 2024 election results. He also invited the supporters of Paslon number 2 who rejected the right of inquiry to reverse support.

"We invite those parties who reject the right of inquiry that supports 02, for example, why not? Come on go a head, people for investigation, this is to legitimize the winning power of the quick count results," said Sahroni.

Sahroni asked the political parties supporting candidate pair 02 not to be afraid or anti-ticket rights. Because he said, the right of inquiry was only done to answer public concerns who suspected that there was fraud in the election, not to impeach President Joko Widodo.

"If there's nothing, why should I be afraid. The Wong who was appointed was related to the election results that were tainted with many dynamics occurring in the community. That's the goal, there is no purpose to run to impeachment," he said.

Therefore, the legislator for the DKI Jakarta electoral district asked the factions in the DPR not to worry and agree on the right of inquiry. And immediately state his agreement openly.

"If that's good, why not? People are more happy if this investigation is more open in the DPR. Wow, that's my thumbs up if everyone participates in it," concluded Sahroni.
