The KPK Is Investigating Allegations Of Bribery In The Management Of Other Cases That Ensnared Hasbi Hasan's Secretary

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again named the inactive Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan as a suspect in alleged bribery. He is suspected of taking care of other cases other than the Intidana Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) case.

"Since last January, the KPK has continued to develop this case (bribery for case management, ed) to the TPPU Article and also related to allegations of bribery for the substance of other cases," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters quoted on Wednesday, March 6.

It has not been detailed who the suspects were involved in in the development of the case. However, information circulating that the name was Minister of Rice Erwin Djohansyah who was the President Director of PT Wahana Adyawarna.

The name Menas Erwin appeared in Hasbi's indictment which was read out by the prosecutor at the Jakarta Corruption Court. He is referred to as giving gratuities.

This gift was detailed in the form of renting an apartment-type room at Fraser Residence Menteng, Central Jakarta. The value reached IDR 120,100,000 and was given from April 5, 2021 to July 5, 2021.

Then, Hasbi received lodging facilities in the form of two junior suite and executive suit rooms at the Hermitage Hotel Menteng, Central Jakarta with a value of Rp. 240,544,400 from Menas. This gift was made from June 24 to November 21, 2021.

Finally, Hasbi received another facility from Menas in the form of renting a room with an executive suite type worth Rp. 162,700,000 at Novotel Cikini, Central Jakarta.

This gift is carried out from November 21, 2021 to February 22, 2022 and is entirely related to case management at the Supreme Court.
