Guarantee Work Safety, Jakpro Achieves This Award

JAKARTA - PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) (Jakpro) won the Indonesia Best Companies in Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSE) Implementation 2024 award from SWA Media. The award was presented in Ceriari Room, Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, Monday 4 March 2024.

As a company that has a core business in the property and infrastructure sector, Jakpro views HSE factors as well as Work Safety and Health Management (K3) as an integral element of a wide business management system. By consistently implementing the K3 management system or HSE Management System, the company will be more productive and able to face industrial competition in their respective sectors.

Meanwhile, this competition is an assessment event on how impact HSE implementation in the office environment. Because it is believed that the Safety Management System, Work Health is very important because it is considered capable of improving work safety and labor productivity, reducing work accidents and loss of working hours, as well as the number of product damage as well as cost savings.

This competition was also attended by other big companies such as; PT Trakindo, PT Tower Bersama Group, PT IHC, PT Saru Husada, PT Bukit Asam, PT Pertamina Geo Termal Energy, and PT Pertamina Nusantara Regas.

When receiving the award, Jakpro's Director of Business Support, Solihin expressed his gratitude for the appreciation given to him. "So far, the Company is committed to implementing K3. Because we have confidence that work health and safety need to be built and carried out continuously and sustainably," he said.

The event was held as an effort to appreciate and spur the implementation of K3 and find companies that implemented HSE Excellence in various industrial sectors.

Previously, in commemoration of National Waste Care Day every February 21, Jakpro also received an award from Waste4chance for the categorization of The Initiative of "Clean Desk Policy for Entry Point to Respondible Waste Management". The award was given by Waste4change to Jakpro at the Biophilia at ISA Art Gallery, Sudirman, Jakarta. Clean desk policy is a fundamental treatment in information confidence and also office waste control whose output is in the form of policy commitment and implementation in the action of implementing Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recovery and Repair (5R) in the work environment.

At the same time, in a series of achievements, Biophilia awards were also given to Tempo, the Australian Embassy, Unilever, Bank BRI, Bank DBS, Body Shop, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of PUPR, Sinar Mas Land, Traveloka, Telaga Kahuripan, to World Clean Up Day.

This award is a form of Waste4Change appreciation to various companies and communities that have made waste management efforts properly and responsibly. These efforts range from minimizing the onset of waste, using environmentally friendly packaging, to increasing the value of recycling.
