At The Plenary Meeting, Luluk PKB: Throughout The Elections I Have Followed Since 99, There Have Never Been This Certificate Election

JAKARTA - Member of Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PKB faction, Luluk Nur Hamidah, expressed his aspirations regarding the right of inquiry during the 13th Plenary Meeting of the DPR RI Session Period IV of 2023-2024 DPR RI, Tuesday, March 5. Luluk emphasized that as one of the historical actors who rolled out reforms in 1998, he had never seen such a very painful election like the 2024 election. "I am one of the historical actors of the reform movement 98, throughout the election I have participated in since 99 I have never seen a brutal and immoral election process," said Luluk. Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin's subordinate who is also 'jumped' as a presidential candidate with Anis Baswedan emphasized that the election is basically a manifestation of people's sovereignty. No power in this republic should be allowed to seize or destroy it. "No one should try to mobilize state resources to win any of the parties, although perhaps there is a relationship with relatives' children or other power relations, the election cannot be seen only in the context of the results of more than that. The context of the process must also be a reflection of all of us to see if the election has been held honestly and fairly," Luluk explained.

For him, if the election is full of intimidation, allegations of fraud and ethical violations, the election cannot be considered immediately over. Luluk encourages the use of inquiry as one of the constitutional instruments owned by the DPR RI.
