The Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Djoko Wienartono, said that the Brimob Inspector of Police One YP accidentally pulled the trigger while cleaning the firearm until the weapon erupted and hit his left chest.
The incident occurred at the Central Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters when Iptu YP was cleaning the HS type firearm Number H179002 on Saturday (2/3) at around 10.20 WITA.

The Brimob member who received the information then checked the condition of Iptu YP and found him in a room with a gunshot wound to the left chest.
Iptu YP was taken to the Undata Hospital in Palu City for medical treatment. Currently, his condition is starting to stabilize and is recovering.
